May's Newsletter
Tours, my calendar and spring yearning.
Happy Spring perverts and good girls alike. I hope we are all feeling ease after the frenzy that is IMsLBB and the start of Spring, and ready for the chaos that gay month is every year. April was truly an adventure of a month, with my Boston tour, new lovers nestling their way into my regular rotation, and of course IMsLBB.

IMsLBB Reflections
To be honest, by the time IMsLBB came around, my normal hunger for my fellow Leatherqueers was already satiated by my new clients that found a multitude of ways to keep me on the edge of my seat. So, this IMsLBB was not the frenzy of erotic catharsis but more the grounding joy of existing and growing in community. I got to see faces that I rarely see, scenes that could only happen against the trees, and meet so many sweet people. With this being my third year attending, I felt a sort of gratitude witnessing myself and my peers grow older, wiser, more technically sound, less anxious, and more present. This community has many people who come and go, people who think this space will give them glory and status but quickly realize otherwise, but then, there are those of us who are in this for life. Those who have been going for a decade, who have gone from attending to organizing, from nervous in the corner to loudly taking up space. Those of us who I know I’ll see every year, and will get to catch up (or not, as IMsLBB goes) and get together again exactly a year later with the same warmth and ease that we had when we first met. This year’s unofficial theme was “Leather is political”, meaning that the eroticism we share with each other is laced with a promise the sliver of liberation we get to exist in in these walls is the same thread of liberation that everyone deserves to experience, and we will fight for it, together. While I know this sentiment is easier said than done, and the reality versus the ideal can feel disappointing, we come back together, and try again, despite the challenges. Congratulations to the title holders this year, and may we continue this fight for as long as we need to.
Black Leatherdyke Calendar
With that being said, thank you to everyone who stopped me to buy a calendar! I just did another order of 50 today, and plan to ship them out mid-May. If you haven’t made your purchase, you can do so here. Keep in mind this is for 2026! Furthermore, the 2027 edition of the calendar is officially a go! I am so excited to do this project again, and expand further to different types of merch and hopefully different regions being able to come represent the Black Leatherdyke community! This year, I’ll be holding a fundraiser for the 2027 edition with a goal of $5000 to ensure everyone who puts labor into this gets paid and of course, the calendars themselves. This fundraiser will happen at Bruise, May 19th at the Rosemont Bar, BK, 8pm-late. There are about 8 auction items and 20+ raffle items! Come out, have a good time and support a good cause.
Availability and Clips
Aside from Leather updates, my May is getting busier by the day, with one quick trip to Philadelphia (again) and one house topping event, for those who’d like a tasting before they take a full bite. And if you need any more motivation, you can watch the two clips subRobert and I made, showing exactly how I would handle you, if you were to finally take the bite. You can purchase them here.
And that’s it folks. Thank you for reading, thank you for supporting and thank you for taking the trust fall with me. For those who are still waiting- what are you waiting for?
Warmly,
Saint Avery Carter
